Product Introduction
This tape seems useful for stopping rust on water and gas pipelines both underground and above ground. It also helps keep insulation coatings safe and gives some protection from sunlight on roofs and walls too.
The backing is aluminum foil or a mix with polyester and it has rubberized bitumen or butyl rubber on the inside. That layer makes it stick on its own without any heating or flames. You can apply it by hand or with a wrapping machine depending on the job size.
