Self-adhesive polypropylene tape is a cold-applied protective adhesive tape manufactured using high-strength polypropylene substrate coated with high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesive or modified asphalt adhesive. It requires no heating or auxiliary adhesives, featuring inherent strong adhesion and integrating mechanical protection, weather resistance, aging resistance, and waterproof sealing capabilities. This material is widely used for external pipeline corrosion prevention, surface protection, and outdoor covering applications.
It features permanent adhesion, allowing direct application and wrapping at room temperature without heating or primer assistance. Both manual and mechanical winding methods are feasible, saving time and effort.
The polypropylene substrate exhibits high toughness, excellent tensile strength, tear resistance, and wear resistance, enabling it to withstand soil stress, external friction, and mechanical compression without easy damage.
