Visco-elastic Corrosion-resistant Tape

The adhesive tape consistently maintains an adhesive-elastic state without curing or hardening; when minor damage occurs to the coating, the adhesive gel can slowly flow and self-heal, re-forming a seamless sealing layer to fundamentally prevent the penetration of moisture and corrosive media.
It can adaptively fill gaps, depressions, and weld defects on the substrate surface, as well as irregular areas with cold flow filling, eliminating blind spots that traditional anti-corrosion materials struggle to cover, thereby forming a continuous and dense protective barrier.
It exhibits excellent adhesion to steel, ductile iron, and factory-precast pipeline coatings such as PE/PP/FBE, with no chemical reaction conflicts. It can be directly applied for new pipeline corrosion protection and is also suitable for repairing existing pipelines.
The colloidal structure is dense and resistant to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salt spray, seawater, and soil; it exhibits extremely low permeability to water vapor and gases, effectively preventing the penetration of corrosive agents over extended periods. It is compatible with cathodic protection systems without any risk of cathodic delamination.
It remains stable for use in extreme temperature ranges from-40°C to +85°C, exhibiting no brittleness at low temperatures and no fluidity at high temperatures. Its protective performance remains unaffected whether in severely cold regions or tropical marine environments.
No heating or open flame required; the installation can be performed manually or mechanically at room temperature, posing no fire hazards and emitting no VOCs. It operates efficiently even in confined environments such as outdoor or offshore settings, significantly reducing construction costs and safety risks.
