Before construction, the substrate must be cleaned and dried, free of loose soil, oil, dust, and other impurities. In special cases, organic solvents can be used for cleaning; after washing with water, the surface must be completely dry. The appropriate tape specification should be selected according to the type of color steel plate, the gaps at joints, or the width of the seams, and the engineering design requirements. During construction, starting from one end of the color steel plate or metal plate, peel off the release paper from the tape and apply the tape in a straight line along the seam to the overlap of the lower plate. Then, use your hand or a small roller to press the tape surface from light to heavy pressure to ensure full and tight adhesion to the surface being bonded.

For double-sided butyl tape, after applying the lower layer, peel off the upper release paper, press the upper plate into the joint, and press the seam sequentially to ensure a firm bond and tight seal. If necessary, screws can be used for further reinforcement. The ambient temperature for construction should be within the range of -15°C to 45°C; appropriate measures should be taken if this range is exceeded. The humidity during construction is recommended to be below 80%. After pasting, allow it to stand for 24 to 48 hours; do not peel off the adhesive during this period. After laying, use a roller to compact it to prevent water seepage and gaps.
