Pipeline anti-corrosion tape is a cold-applied protective coating specially designed for long-term corrosion protection of steel pipelines. Made of robust polyethylene backing and high-viscosity butyl rubber adhesive, this self-adhesive tape forms a seamless and durable protective layer on pipe surfaces. With simple operation and stable performance, it has become one of the most widely used anti-corrosion materials for buried and above-ground pipeline projects.
The tape delivers superior mechanical performance, featuring high tensile strength and excellent flexibility. It effectively resists soil stress, external friction and mechanical extrusion, preventing coating damage during underground service. Thanks to its low water vapor permeability, the product can reliably isolate moisture, chemical solutions and corrosive substances. It also exhibits outstanding resistance to cathodic disbondment and ultraviolet radiation, maintaining stable performance under complex and harsh environmental conditions.
Suitable for multiple substrate materials, the tape can firmly adhere to steel pipes, ductile iron pipes, as well as FBE and PE coated pipelines.
